You can go cross-country skiing in the area in Jakuszyce, Poland, which can be conveniently reached by the Harrachov ski bus. It leaves three times a day and has a number of stops within walking distance of the majority of accommodation facilities in Harrachov. You can return by ski bus again, on cross-country skis or by train. You can also reach Jakuszyce by your own car and park in the paid parking lot right next to the resort. This is a network of groomed cross-country skiing terrains just across the Czech-Polish border.
