The Huťský Pond, as the name suggests, is an inseparable part of the Harrachov glassworks. Even today, the water in the pond is used for soaking wood for the production of glass moulds.
The pond is fed by a stream flowing in from the north, but mainly by a dam from the adjacent valley with the Milnice stream. It is one of the five water bodies that surround Harrachov and supply it not only with water but also with unique energy.
